One isn't "sweeter" than the other. Soprano's sing a higher pitch and therefore sing higher notes. Altos sing lower pitch.. well, you get the idea. Music in itself is the sweet part. The combining of finely tuned musicians, wether it be instrumental or vocal, is one of the most beautiful gifts in this world. It's what I call "ear candy". Everyone has thier own personal tastes on what kind of music they like. I don't think you can classify either as " generally sweeter". But thanks for the question!!

Alto.
Soprano is great for dramatic effect, but a main course of nothing but soprano gets on one's nerves. Alto may not have the drama, but sounds really nice and sweet.

soprano is higher than alto, I wouldn't say one is sweeter than the other.
