I cannot stand it when adults and teenagers, especially teenagers get so arrogant about an age. Once they are in 7th grade they talk so condescending to the 6th graders. The 10th grade acts condescending towards the 9th graders. I don't know how many times I have heard a 11th grader say, "aww look they are so small," even though they are like 1 inch shorter. Then adults, they act like the are so much wiser. Is

Most adults are wiser. Sounds like the problem is with you, not everyone else.

well to be honest ADULTS are wiser, but its ONLY because they have more years on earth and so ,they have gotten to do more with life.
Teenager are Territorial and yes, moody. We like to claim status because it makes us feel like we are progressing in life. Even little kids, if you call a 7 year old 6 they will LET YOU KNOW they are 7 and NOT 6. It's just their way of saying I've earned my position, respect it.
And yes adults are alot like the example I just mentioned. =D

its kinda cute actually, just really annoying....

Not all adults are wise. This is not opinion, it is fact. Neither are all adolescents less intelligent. The behavior you are describing has little to do with being intelligent and more to do with maturity and societal norms.

because mostly your age categorize your experience...the older you are, the more experienced you are. just like the old adage says "i've been there before. you are about to pass where i'm about to leave."

Perhaps a better question is " Why are people arrogant?"

Or evern better than that ; " Why does it bother me when I can't stop it from happening?"

Sometimes questions can be as helpful as answers.

Yeah, and the schools support it. "Cheer for your class and get spirit points"- who cares????? Age doesn't define a person's character.

That's how it is. Don't think it's so arrogant, there are just teasing the juniors. It make juniors want to up-grade.

Well that's my opinion.
