Just to have a commercial? You are singing along and at the end is the best part of all and darn that DJ comes on and talks about stuff I don't care about.

Oooooooohhhhhhhhhyeah, I hate when that happens , those bastards. And when they talk at the beginning of the song, too. Sometimes the fade outs on songs are really awesome and some of the oldies have fake endings and come back strong before they end. I stopped listening to the radio a long time ago because of that kind of garbage. But, I have an extensive music collection and don't need the radio. So I can listen to my music to the very last note. So radio DJs can go suck an egg.

Yesssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely hate when they do this. I have yet to hear the end of Teena Maries "Lover Girl" I am singing along to the rap part and then just as the ending is suppose to come........a commericial or a stupid DJ cuts it off. I have meant to email the DJ many times to either let the song play or dont play it at all.

or talks until the actual singing starts at the beginning. Maybe they are trying to keep people from recording it. An old habit left over from the 70's I'd say since just about any song can be downloaded at this point.

They do it at the beginning as well. I have heard 2 reason, the first is they don't want people to record the song in its entirety and the second (my favorite) is that the DJ's are arrogant narcissists and like to hear themselves talk.

Its really bad when you're recording the song off the radio and this happens. What I hate is when solos are edited. Hotel Californias solo is butchered bad on the oldies stations.

Yes its completely annoying! They come and start plugging contests and products and all kinds of nonsense, and in your head you are like " The song isn't finished, why are you talking?!". That has always irked me LOL.

try requesting long songs like Guns n roses coma for example or metallica's to live is to die...then any radio station probably will cut it in half or more...now that's annoying

Yes THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME TO ME AND WHEN I CALLED AND WROTE A LETTER THE ONLY THING I GOT WAS WERE SORRY BUT WE HAVE ONLY SO MUCH TO DO OUR COMMERCIAL AND WE HAVE TO PUT SO MANY ON AT OR AROUND THAT TIME
