if u want to keep from having a costly repair bill dont ever do it...
to change the oil u need to first drain oil from the oil pan in to a drain pan...then remove the oil filter and set in drain pan...take new filter and fill it with fresh new oil...put a thin film of oil on the rubber seal and spin new filter in place....fill engine with proper amount of oil depending on the make and model of engine it could take 4 quarts or 5 quarts to fill then run engine for a few seconds.. shut off then check oil level......

No!!, The engine will loose oil pressure as quick as it blows out everywhere under the car and on the ground.... and no oil or oil pressure to lube the critical components (ie rods, pistons, crankbearings) they will get damaged even if its quickly shut off.

Just make sure that you're under the car and have a friend start it. This way, you can move your drain pan to wherever the most oil is dripping (oops!, that should say spraying) from. Thanks for the 2 pts

nope. the engine needs the oil while it is running to keep it from rubbing metal to metal.

You may not ruin the engine, but will make a mess.
