Um...good luck? Seriously though, just study up, look for schools with a good record of engineering and don't feel bad if you decide to change your mind after you get to college. The average students changes majors 3 times during college.

You'll need a very good math foundation. So work hard to fully understand. And I'll reinforce what quickblur said about changing majors. I started in physics, got a BS but I saw that to go higher in physics would strain my math skills. So I got my MS in electrical engineering. I don't regret taking that path - it worked for me.
