If you have copies of the checks or reciepts you have a case .
If you don`t have any proof ,you`re out of luck.

How did you pay the payments for the car? and to the dealer? Hopefully by check so you have a record....If you paid cash and have no receipt; you may be hosed.

You should have paid the dealer, the car only wants gas and oil. Did the car give you a receipt to show payment.

Hopefully you have independent records to show you made the payments. If you did, you need to contact your creditor and find out who you need to talk to in order to show verification. If that doesn't work, you may need to sue, for what is hard to say. Money paid I think. And depending upon how much you will need to sue for, you may nee to sue in a court above small claims. If you don't know who to sue, you sue everybody at the same time, in the same action and the court will tell you who is the right person to sue, and who isn't.

Sue them in small claims court. You don't even need to pay for a lawyer if you've been paying properly. Find all the proof that you can that you made payments - cheques, bank statements, credit card statements, etc.

did you get a receipt or a canceled check if you did not pay cash there is a paper trail.if you payed in person see the dealer take him to court if you have a witness.
