You know that they have been saying that the time of movie going is past, ever since the advent of VCR's (which used to cost over $400). Now we've gone through VCR's and DVD's to TIVO and HDTV, and the movie industry still seems to be going strong.

I think the only thing that the present plasma technology and big screen TV's is going to change is the way we incorporate it into our living spaces. I still like the TV screens Arnie and his "wife" had in their apartment in Total Recall. I think that is where this technology is taking us....TV as wall art, and multiple visual apparatus (or one large wall sized screen).

You will feel more into the movie. When you watch a movie on a small screen it's just like OK but on a big screen you get more feel and you get more into the movie. Well that is my opinion.

with surround sound pop some popcorn because its like being at the movies

it brings the movie to life and makes feel the more dramatic moments like you are apart of them.
