Yes I could easily hang up, but sometimes I choose to confuse the caller, or act completely crazed. If you have done this, please share what methods you've used.

Just tell them you are really lonely and depressed and where just getting ready to call in to a radio talk show for some help. but now they can help you instead. Ask lots of personal questions. The call shouldn't last very long after that.

I tell them to hang on, then I lay the phone on the table and leave it,,, let them pay a big long distance charge.They are charged as long as the phone is off the hook, by the time they find out, no one on other end, the charges have ran up.

I sometimes set the phone down in front of the television and then channel surf. Or I'll put the phone up to my 4 month old daughter and start making her babble.

.. personally I always try to sell them something ..hey while your on the phone would you be interested in buying a pool table ? missing a leg.... top is pitted but it works great ...oh and can I have YOUR home number so I can call you to see if your interested if you don't buy it today?? works every time they hang up and haven't had the same call twice from any one company lol

Play the hard of hearing trick. When they ask a question, follow up with a completely off the wall answer. example. do you have children? you know my friends tell me i should be investing but i just havent had the time

Act like two different people and start the conversation all over again ...they will get annoyed by the third round of this and hang up themselves .Make it like your two different people ...great little role playing game

I do this too ! Lol
Say something dirty, it gets them off the phone fast.
You wont even have to ask them to add you to their Do Not call list
they will do it for you after you that.

when you are about to finish the call say (hey....listen) the caller says (yeah....what) that's the best moment to hang up hahahahaha i love to do this i do it all the time
