I agree with you competely.
Its because America is supposed to be "free". to all the people that think this is a stupid question think of all the families that are living in a one or two bedroom apartment with 5 kids their grandparents and their uncles and aunts. if there was a limit we probably wouldnt have that problem.
although i think there should be an adjustment to just 2 per family. maybe 2 pregnancies per family. full term of course. say someone has twins the first time they should be able to have another child. or if they have one already what if their second is twins/triplets/etc. so two full term pregnancies is what i would vote for.

i don't think that there should be a law at all. Do you have children ? Cause if you do you wouldn't say that children are the most precious gift you can get out of life i have 2 kids and another on the way my life is about my kids and i wouldn't change it for the world. and we are very low income but it doesn't matter because are kids get what they need so my answer to that question is NO! But I can see where your coming from if people are just giving up for adoption or not taking care of there kids but there are people out there that enjoy having kids and for instance with me and my husband i have a 4 year old boy and a 1 year boy we wanted to try again to have a girl which we are and she is due 10-25-06 .

... because thats stupid.
if they did that, then there would be a lot of late term abortions because people would find out that the child they had wasn't the gender they wanted... for example, if they had one girl already (wanted another boy) and ended up with another girl, they might abort that girl after they find out OR just throw her in the trash or find other means of her dying. So that way they can retry for a boy...
think about it.
Plus that means America would be turning into a Communist country.
Also to add: What happens if a set of parents children die? Like... some horrible fire? Or a buglar comes in and kills the children? What then? The parents have to go the rest of their lives and not have the chance to have children again... OR what if one of the children is born with some kind of retardation? What are we going to do then? Kill them... thats nice. ::rolls eyes::
I wouldn't be here if couples were only allowed 2 children... I am the youngest of 4.... and in that case, my parents never would have grandchildren. My sister (the first born) is infertile and my brother just never wants children... I'm the youngest and 8 months pregnant with my first child. The first and most likely only one of my siblings that is ever going to have kids. (My other brother ... the third born is a pot head and doesn't ever want kids either)

For one folks lets grow up they are not naughty bits that you are talking about removing. If you are referring to female parts they are the uterius and ovaries, and to remove them for no apparent reason is stupid. People can be responsible and use family planning and not have to be sterilized. Now to the fact you think all people should be limited to two children. Well as many people have pointed out this the land of the free, and if you are able to support, love and raise your children to be good citizens then you should be allowed to have as many as you choose to have. Whether this be through adopting, or conceiving your own. I suppose you believe once a person has adopted or fostered two children they should not be allowed to help anymore children, however I believe as long as they are able then it does not matter if they choose to have fifty as long as they are supporting them without government assistance.

Because the united states has a democratic system of government with built in freedoms to choose certain things... While some people may have too many children in other peoples opinion it is their choice just like it is your choice to have 2 then have you naughty bit removed...
Be sure to have them place it in a jar of formaldehyde you can put it on your coffee table it will make a great conversation piece "Penis and testicles floating in formaldehyde" heck you might be able to sell it to an art gallery along with your eunuch photos as performance and static art..

America is a country where the people can make choices for their own lives, not the government. Some couples want to have families with a large number of children. In America, it is their right. If someone only wants to have two, that is the choice they make, it is not our place to impose upon another couple or family how many children is or is not appropriate.

I think the law should be about the type of children English people have! At least we try to teach our children to respect other cultures! We have more children because we are hoping to outnumber the idiots produced by the rest of society! That way the population has a chance to survive and not be wiped out by nuclear weapons controlled by children of Englishmen!

Thats your opinion. People can have as many kids as they want, and if they feel they can support them, have at it! This one family, the Barkers, have 16 kids! Another family has 29! They all have rooms and food and clothes, and the parents love them so why should people be limited to 2?

I think there should be more of a law on women living off of the welfare system and letting everyone else pay for their kids. I can see if you go through a rough patch but to sit on your *** and keep having more and more kids is pathetic. I think they should be required to have a birth control shot every month they go and pick up their check or wic vouchers. If you can afford to have a big family and pay for it on your own then more power to you but don't act like a baby making factory and expect the rest of us to contribute and take care of your kids when there are people out there who can afford to kids but are unable to.
