4. Companies in the developed world "outsource" activities to countries where wages are low. When all the world is developed, this will no longer be possible.

5. Developing countries undercut the cost of production in developed countries for things that are easy to make. That's why nearly every small object in your house nowadays is "made in China".

6. People from developed countries can take cheap holidays in poor countries.
