school sports program starting question?
our county is a small farming county. all of our children would like to play football and all we offer is soccer and basketball. we brought up the motion for football for small children and progress from there each year with the same children all the way to high school. that way we could have a full program in 12 years. unfortunately the reply was its cost too much money. does any one know how to possibly raise the money to fund these children to play?

Who needs the school? Start a local league and enjoy! If you really want it in the schools, you'll have to start a Booster Club to keep it going... you'll have to pay for uniforms, insurance, and the salaries of coaches (unless you can get volunteers), grounds upkeep, etc. You school gets catalogs from companies specializing in fund raising... ask for a few... you'll get tons of ideas.
