how does a friend check her e-mail, on my account?

If your friend has a yahoo, google, hotmail or any other free account, all they would need to do is go an login to their account from anywhere.

If we're talking about Yahoo mail, all she has to do is type www.yahoo.com in the address bar and log in.

First you have to log off and then she can log onto her account. I assume you are talking about her using your computer.
