Make sure your pc can boot from your CD-Rom Drive by checing your bios (I won't get into all the bios Manufacturers)
Example:
Award Bios
at the Start of your bios screen click the delete key this will bring you into your bios. Mext toggle to Advanced Bios Features. Make your CD-Rom the first boot device. exit this page and save your settings. Now you can load your WindowsXP Install disk where it will start the install.... Just follow the instructions from this point from start to finish....
Good Luck!

Is your CD rigidity operating? Assuming it reads DVD as well. Yu wipre your HD through setting up the OS, effortless as that. be particular that it quite is the alternative because getting your computer again to well-known after a reinstall might want to be a time-eating soreness.
