iexplore.exe is slowing down my computer, but it advises me not to delete it. What,s with that?

Internet explorer is part of the operating system. You can not uninstall it. Who says it is slowing down your machine? You have other problems.
You may have adware, spyware, viruses, or you drive needs to be checked, defragged, etc.
If you don't know how to deal with these problems, get someone you know to help and get it fixed.

yeah, I would use Mozilla Firefox.

just for some info, some viruses use the process name iexplore.exe and other legitimate process names but they still run because they are in a separate folder than the "real" process. Not saying it's a virus but sometimes it's possible for an iexplore.exe or other processes to look "real" but may just be a virus process.

That is your Internet Explorer Browser.

Download a new browser like Mozilla. Leave your IE intact otherwise it will malfunction your pc.

That is really wierd that it would slow down your PC ~ but you can just make another browser your default browser. Hope this helps...

If you are using another browser like fire fox. You can go to control panel click on add/remove then click on add/remove windows components fine internet explorer and remove.
