As long as they use the same technology. For example, Cingular uses GSM technology (the ones with sim cards) and sprint does not. Therefor, you can not bring a Razor to sprint to be activated. If you have the unlocked phone that takes a sim card and you already have another activated phone with a sim card, just swap the cards out.

No...Not always. Sometimes that would work if your going from Verizon to Sprint or from Cingular to T Mobile. But you can NEVER go from Cingular to Verizon or Verizon to Cingular. Nor van you go Sprint to Cingular or T Mobile. This is because Cingular Uses a older type of network called GSM and so does T Mobile. But Verizon uses a newer network called CDMA and so does sprint.
