I am five foot five and thought I was always sexy at 140 pounds, not fat, not skinny and I was in for a big shock when I came to Los Angeles, everyone even FAT people kept yelling "heavy" at me. I went to 112 but not firm but TINY and they were still saying it, I was in a size 0. I almost had a break down

OH honey sugar baby darling face. Do not worry. I can tell you through the same eyes....that I know exactly what you are going through. I used to be 5'4 and 140lbs. And...I thought I was fat. And that last bastard that said you can stand to lose a few pounds can go...*explict explict* themselves. I was and am in good shape. The BMI although great source of where you could be or "should" be at in weight, is generally a good idea, in theory. Don't worry. You don't need to change a thing about your weight, although...tear up those skinny model magazine pictures and tear the hair out of those size "0's". Besides if they are that skinny, they have either really abnormal genetics or an eating disorder. Feel good about yourself honey child...you have abs!

The more important concern is your body fat percentage. You're certainly not FAT!!! If anything maybe a bit close to the upper end of the range for the body fat percentage. You're definitely way healthier than the anorexic models women are supposed to emulate! You may be feeling fat due to normal hormone swings and fluid retention we women all have at times.

you have a BMI of 24, which is at the high end of normal. If you want to lose a few pounds you would be fine, but you are not fat or unhealthy be any stretch of the imagination

I'm Anthony. I lost 75 pounds and shed my high school nickname Pudgy. Our family has a tragic history of cardiac disease and rheumatoid arthritis. I am proud to say that family tradition ends with me. I know I have broken the cycle and will never have to be faced with those illnesses. Thank, you have changed my life.

If you exercise, then it's probably muscle weight, and that's perfectly healthy.
