My God I feel sorry for you with all the various explanations and complicated replies as to what to do.

To simplify - prayer, visualization, salt, herbs, smoke, ect. have 'intention' behind them the most. Thoughts Are Things. Your 'intent' or want to clear or bless something makes it happen.

Rituals help you focus and make the outcome more potent, but it is still YOU that are doing the energetic work.

Prayer simply puts your intention and the intention of higher being together to accomplish something.

As far as props (herbs, salt, smoke/smudge, ect) those can help in their own way kind of like a higher being but tend to be more grounding and earthy than prayer because they are elements of earth by nature.

So my advice is find what feels right and rings true somewhere in you out of the myriad different ways to do the same thing - and that will be what will work best for YOU.

If you don't feel confident enough that you can do it yourself, than find someone who does energetic work. A priest, rabbi, reiki practitioner, lightworker, ect. They should be able to 'fix' whatever imbalance is going on with those houses. Unless of course like one guy said, you live in Amityville...hahaha!!! OMG...how funny.

IF that's the case, here's a quickie on how energy works. Positivity and negativity are on two ends of the same spectrum. So if there is a lot of negativity and you bring in a lot of positivity (by whatever method you choose) - the negativity will transmute. If it is a negative entity, it will naturally be uncomfortable with an energy frequency resonating so differently than it's own that it will or should decide to leave and find someplace it finds to be more comfortable. That is how exorcism works.

Yes, but first a cleansing sounds very much like it is in order.

If you are over 15 and safe to be playing about with fire...
and if you are NOT in the bay area.....

Get the following things: a trivet, a saucepan, a cup of salt, a couple of quarts of rubbing alcohol, some matches or a lighter, a pot-cover for the pan, and some paper. Find a place near one of these houses that would have some of that house within a 30' radius, put the trivet on the ground or floor (disconnect the fire alarms, if any), put the pan on the trivet, twist up some of the paper as a wick and put it in the pan, cover with the salt, cover that with some of the rubbing alcohol, light the match and drop it in, or light the wick and move your hand out really fast. This starts 'working' when you hear hissing sounds and the flames turn a orangish-green color.
Repeat to cover as much of these houses as possbile with the 30' radius.
Watch the fire in the pot having the pot-cover ready in case things start getting out of control (= put the pot-cover on and the fire will go out.)

If you feel 'low', 'draggy', or 'out of energy' afterward, get away from the salt, focus on pulling energy in as you inhale and circulating it thru and around your body as you exhale and go faster and faster until you reach your max breathing speed, then exhale, go back to normal breathing and see how you feel.

Try all of that and see if you still need a blessing.

Our local vicar blessed our house shortly after we moved in.Very informal,we had some friends and kids there,it was pleasant.The vica did it for some nosh and a few cans of Stella.Since then,our house has been unscathed by floods and the great storm of a couple of years ago.Our neighbours houses were mostly affected.Beware when you come to sell it though,our house is refusing to give up the Holy Ghost on us.I believe it is waiting for the right people to visit before it lets us depart!!!

If you belive in religious rites, any minister or priest will do, but if you believe in a creator also, smudging all the corners of your house or any house will do the trick.
Smudging is burning a small amount of sage and sweetgrass in a can or ashtray, waving you hand slowly to disperse the smoke, as you ask the creator to have the house cleansed of all unclean spirits and have happiness and prosperity included in the rooms, with a thank you, afterwards.

If you have fresh sage, use water on a bundle and while spritzing the water room to room, focus on a safe home. If it is dried sage, burn it and go room to room, (in each house) letting the smoke cleanse the room and focusing on having a safe house. I also put my own symbol on each and every door, window, etc, with sage oil while focusing on keeping evil out and letting peace reign.

burn any combination of the folowing incenses in each room:sage, vanilla, frankinsense. Wash the walls with saltwater. burn white candles. surround the outside with a ring of iron filings and sprinkle salt along the baseboards inside.pray or chant for peace. sprinkle salt over all the floors and sweep out the front door. hang whisk brooms or horseshoes over the front and back doors. place cloves of garlic in the windows.there's tons more but this stuff ought to do it unless you live in amityville

off the top of my head sprinkle cedar all about your residences. It is common knowledge to practicioners of magick that wherever cedar is evil cannot inhabit. for a more detailed ritual for house blessings give me an email of the concern. I would have to go after my book of shadows for that

You can ask your local priest/vicar to pay a visit for a donation.
The other alternative is purchase holy water and read aa appropriate passage from the bible whilst anointing every room!
