Today it is reported that Randal D. "Randy" Ankeney, who was a rising GOP star in Colorado, (and named his dogs Reagan and Nixon) is being held on a $1 million bond in Larimer County.

Ankeney, 35, who was arrested Wednesday, is facing five counts of sexual assault on a child, three counts of sexual enticement of a child and one count of sexual exploitation of a child. The felonies, if he is convicted, could send him to prison for life.

"The charges come less than 15 months after the former attorney, head of Gov. Bill Owens economic development office in Colorado Springs and graduate of the Republican Leadership Program, was released from prison after serving a two-year sentence for attempted sexual assault on a child." coloradoconfidential.com

The Democratic Leadership was not informed of (R-Fl) Mark Foley's sex e-mails to a teen either although Republican leadership knew for a year, they learned. Should Republicans disclose its pedophiles across party lines sooner?

If it is revealed that the GOP tried a cover up, it could really blow up in their faces!

If you think this is a scandal, what about a drunk Senator driving into a bay and killing his passenger and trying to get his cousin to say he was driving? What happened to the Senator, you say? He's still in the Senate.
Look up Mary Jo Kopechne.

Yes they should. So should the Democrats & any other political party, church, civic organization/group etc. A pedophile is a very sick person & we need to know about every single one of them. I know it's unlikely but it is the way things should be.

I really don't think party affiliation has anything to do with these two ppl.
Many Politicians - Dems/Repubs/etc. think they are above law expecially after being in office for a while.

This is my opinion only.
