You mean that they take more than 60% and then tax you again at the end of the year because it is considered income?

Gambling is a tax on people who are not good at math.
No matter how fair it is you will lose even if you "win".
Do yourself a favor: take that $10 dollars a week(or whatever) & invest it in an S&P fund from Vanguard or a savings account @ Emigrant bank or Citibank with their 5.0% interest rate. Do something worthwhile with your resources.

You pay a quid a go.Most times you lose.Its a one in 14 million chance of winning anything.If you got all six numbers wouldnt you be unhappy if the payout was artificialy limited to say £2 million?

It should be a separate draw for each million available on the same ticket. People don't really need multiple millions each, share it around!

yes very, i got 4 numbers the other week it payed out £35 its better than nothing, but i think it wants looking at again.

no. you are one lucky duck if you do win...plus if you take the slower payout you get to keep more...it is taking the lump sum that puts you in the highest tax brackets.
