70's but I liked the sixties much better. Great time to live in America! Yes, there were some downsides.
But the American family was still intact. Kids could go to school without getting killed. People in small towns actually left their front doors unlocked. Neigbors were helpful.Gas was about 25 cents per gallon. People knew that wrong was wrong and right was right. They didn't have to bow to peer pressure masquerading as "political correctness". Most of all, we didn't have to worry about terrorism.

Why are those two decades my only choices? I've lived in both of them, and also the 60's and the 90's and more than half of the 00's.
Would I only have 10 years of life? Because otherwise of course I get to live in multiple decades by definition. Have you really thought this question through?

I lived in both (and I did see the Doors in concert). 70s were better, especially musically (except for disco which sucked).
