I think you should stay in the job you enjoy doing but you could look around to see if there was a similar job which paid more it is easier to get a job if you have one

As some have asked "do you need the extra cash?"

In my experience, and I've had plenty, there are so many questions and considerations you have to take into account. I have enjoyed jobs before but realised that they were taking me no where and therefore left. I've absolutely hated jobs and have left them without so much as a thought about the consequences because they can destroy you as a person.

I have worked for £50 a week and totally enjoyed the job, I've also worked for 6 times as much as that and dreaded going into work.

This question is one that only you can answer because you are the only one who truly knows what it is you are looking for and your circumstances.

It has taken me 6 career choices over 13 years and going to Uni at 25 to find a happy medium and even then I'm reaching for something better.

I would end my ramblings by saying never be afraid to take a risk, 'Carpa Diam' and all that.

In the first place you are lucky to be in ajob that you enjoy, how many of us would like that?
If you're in need of more money, and the possibillity of ending up in a job you hate, you really are between a rock and a hard place.
I'm not really quallified to give you advice, but I know what I'd do, speaking from experience, I'd stay.

Am in the same position but its important to have money to be able to do the things you like in life. I'd try to get more money then later in life when I don't have much energy do what you really like while you have some security. If I had my way I'd just chat to people but that won't pay much (door supervisor) and its hard to live on hand to mouth each month. Sacrifice is crucial sometimes.

you have ot ask yourself 3 questions:

1) is it likely that you'll get a promotion? and therefore more money (if you stay)

2) Do you need more money to live and socialise?

3) Is this a long term thing or just part time? if long term will you get a pay rise and time goes on? if short time then stay as you might as well til something you really want to do comes along.

Stay where you enjoy, its not about money, lifes about making the most of it so you enjoy it and not making sure you have a high paid job. What if you took a job that you didnt like.

I'd say it depends on your goals. What do you want to be doing in 5 years? Will your current job get you there? Will more experience at your current job help you when a better opportunity comes along?

It really depend on you, if there is a chance you could advance with this company and it doesn't affect your life style than stay,. but sooner or later you have to ask yourself, "is it really worth the sacrafice". Good Luck!

I have noticed that , If you have a job that you really like, the money is usually crap, and if you have a well paid job the job is shite. What do you value the most?
