talk to other cheerleaders on the hs squad and ask them what did they have to know to make the squad(try talking to someone who is on it this and next year so you will already have friends) and maybe take some gymnastics lessons or get them or a coach to help you and a self confidence

I'd suggest you signup in a intro. cheer class. It really helps. Then go into some private tumbling instructions. Also make sure your motions are good.

Practice, practice, practice. Check out the about cheerleading site, there are also books at the library you can check out. the CHEER! dvd is also a great tool!

try the best you can it might help if you do a little of Gymnastics so your more flexible. You should also try to learn how to do back flips. To make you stronger you could get a gym membership

you should go and talk to one of the cheerleaders about it,or ask the coach,its alot better plus you will know what to do,and get all the information.......iam trying out in two weeks
