I know stereotypes can be hurtful, and they usually don't mean a thing, but I'd have to admit that I've stereotyped a good bunch of people. I think probably everyone in highschool is stereotyped something or another. What do people usually stereotype you as, and what do you think about it?

I'm considered to be the smart Asian girl... well, I am smart (I got a 4.0 or something in that area) and I am Asian and I am a girl, but I'm more than that. After others talk to me, they realize that I am different. I mean, I can be dark at times, silly at others, and plain weird most of the time. I usually surprise others and they all look at me funny.
I don't mind the stereotype because I really don't look upon other's opinions to feel better about myself. Plus, I hardly talk to them so... Well, anyway, I'm okay with it even though it explains just a tiny portion of me.
But I do try to not stereotype others... it's hard at times, but I try my hardest! LOL...

i dont know my stereotype... i guess it would be kinda "emo" cuz some of my guy friends have called me that and some of my family and yeah so i guess "emo". and i am called weird alot too. and well i don't really care about my stereotype. also EVERYONE out there stereotypes even when they say they don't they are lying EVERYONE stereoytpes. even if they don't realize they are or they don't like to or they try not to they still do!!! i don't like steroetyping and i would rather not do it but i do. everyone does i think it would be nice if we all didn't but its life. you can't change others you can only change the way you percieve things. And it is good that you know you sterotype. and you aren;t lying saying "no i don't and i never will and i never have" cuz everyone has and everyone does and most likely everyone will. i think this world doesn't need steroetypes. but what can one person do about it...âº

My Sterotype is trying to thin and muscular. I always hated my weight and was looking at girls that like those muscle boys so I WENT bulimic until my friend saw me do it. it took me a month but i got over it now I love myself no matter what size I mantain my weight even though I lost about 10 pounds I LOVE ME

People stereotype me as "not black" because I speak proper English and don't speak "ghetto". I just roll my eyes and laugh.There will always be jealous people in the world.
