robert de niro or al pacino? that's a tough choice to make. i cannot choose betwen them. they are both good in their own way. de niro is versatile at doing comic roles, as well as dramatic ones, whilst pacino is good in various drama and action movies. so therefore, its a tie!

DeNiro or Pacino: I personally can't choose they are both top notch actors one a little different from the other but just two pieces of the same puzzle

Pacino is the most convincing actor ever, he is scary in his roles, from scarface to the devils advocate, every role has been pure genius! On the other hand, DeNiro has (albeit arguably) a greater range. Ever cool and collected and a convincing mobster too. Its a question without an answer. Thanks for that, you got me thinking. hmmmm...... I have to agree that brando is right up there too.

De Niro...both are great, and both at times have fallen foul of playing themselves (just my opinion) but Al seems to be Al a lot more then Bob seems to play Bob...if that makes any sense

Robert DeNiro is awesome, and funny, wide range there, and Al Pacino...is a favorite of mine, we could discuss this forever!

De Niro, he has some fun roles. From the young Vito Corleone in The Godfather part 2 to Harry Tuttle in Brazil.
I think Marlon Brando has them both beat in my opinion.

Neither, both studdied at the school of over acting, with a degre in..making it up as you go along..fine example of this art can be seen in Oceans 12, clooney, pitt & affleck haming it up for all they are worth. de nero & pacino have a lot to answer for !..pack it in..its anoying !
