He's a decent goalkeeper who has started the season well but is a long way off legend status.

His habit of being able to dish out sneaky, cheap shots whilst not being able to withstand any type of physical challenge on himself without reacting like a spoilt brat mark him out as a coward in my books.

Bert Trautmann - now HE was a legend. German keeper who played for Man City in the 1950's- played on for the final 13 minutes with a broken neck in the 1956 FA Cup final. Hardly the sort of thing Lehman would do.

I really dont rate him enough to be brandished a legend. A real legend or legends are the likes of Peter Schemiecahel, David Seaman, Peter Shilton! Players like those who create legeneds for themselves!! Oliver Kahn in comparison to Jens Lehman was a far much fufilled goalkeeper than Jens!! Even GK's like Buffon have reached Legendary status and they are still in the prime of their respected clubs!

Not sure about the "Legend" name-tag, abit early for that title.

But if he can repeat his heroics from last years Champs League and the Gunners win it this year his on the road to Legend St. Think they had 10 clean sheets.

Jens is a little "esoteric" some times but haven't all great keepers ? They have to be different to play that position.

He's good quite alright, but not a legend. I mean he's not in the same class as Gorddon Banks, Dino Zoff or even Peter Schmeichel.
He's okay in Arsenal 'cos he has a terrific back four, but watch the goals Italy scored him in the world cup

A legend has presence and is admired by all.
Lehman is a good keeper who acts like a spoilt brat when things don't go his way.

I think he's a really good goalkeeper the only problem is that he was discovered too late. He's going to retire sooooo soon :´(
I'm not sure if he's going to become a legend but he's making difference.
Many people deslike him, but i think he's done a great job so far.

I thinks he's got to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world at the moment especially after his performances at the world cup.

certain,I did snort difficult after I study that.i'm prepared on the German nationwide crew yet i imagine Lehmann has lost it. "yet i do not care about him any better. He can say what he likes. I come into preparation and that i artwork with Lukasz Fabianski and Vito Mannone. they are better suited goalkeepers than him besides." haha

I wouldn't say legend as there are other goalkeepers (Van Der Sar, Buffon, Cech, Ricardo, Shwarzeger) out there who do as great a job as he does...
