Do you actually mean 'Theatre Arts'? Because if so, I'm in that class in high school. The first level of the class involves taking notes, not really doing much. The second level is a lot of improv and some rehearsed scenes and monologues. However, this may vary from school to school. If you're in high shool, you could always go find the theatre teacher and ask him what the class is all about.

Most likely it will be a theatre appreciation class - you'll learn theatre history, read and watch a couple of plays maybe, perhaps do a little acting or do acting exercises.

Although if you are thinking of taking it for an easy A, I'd choose something else. Theatre appreciation classes usually have quite a bit of reading, short papers, and time spent watching plays.
