I really admire their passion for the job and their desire to try and help as much as they can. They do have the element of worry on their faces but thats them looking at learning. One student nurse I remember was ever so charming and she used her personality to take my mind off some stitches i was having out behind my ears and she was just brilliant talking me through my day, and before she could talk any more she completed the stitiching! I have so much faith in new student nurses, they got a zing in their job and it shows how much heart they have in their work!

Certain professions are there which can not be efficiently performed by the masculine gender. Viz Baby sitting, Receptionist, Air hostess etc the reason because they lack patience and tolerance. Nursing is one such profession which serves the humanity with dedication and involvement. The student nurses can be simply defined as representatives of god, since they do uncomparable service to the sick people.

As a doctor, it's always difficult to have staff that are still learning what they are doing, either interns or student nurses, because when you are under pressure of life-or-death, it's always better to have the person who is helping you KNOW what they are doing. But, under todays circumstances, with a huge nursing shortage, it's better than nothing. I'd rather have more nurses with less experience than hardly any nurses with experience. And plus, where are they going to learn? It's hands on experience, and in my opinion, that's when you learn the best.

As a pupil nurse, I easily have considered it achieved and dealt with the blood itself. I easily have taken it from the refrigerators and picked up it, and watched as they set up the transfusion. Then I helped them set it up the subsequent time, and then possibly i'll do it supervised... i might probable be supervised each and every of how till commencement on something IV - the nurse observing me might would desire to take duty for it so might verify i became employing the ideal blood. It relies upon on the ward. Ours is TRAUMA and so which you're consistently seeing blood transfusions. yet once you artwork in like a ward which includes outpatients and so on and so on then you definately would not probable see it.

Most of them appear to be as popular as ever. Fortunatley, enemas aren't as popular as they used to be. In fact most hospital procedures aren't so bad - even having a colonoscopy these days isn't too bad. Not that having a camera shoved up your **** will ever catch on - it's not as bad as it used to be. Having a group of young student nurses watch isn't half as bad when you're stoned either!
