Republicans and conservatives here don't think you can politicize Foley the pedophile, but yet they greatly politicize Clinton for practicing adultery. Forget that the GOP tramps around as the party of "family values."

Hypocrisy, huh?

Does it matter? Lets face it, the GOP is beginning to fall apart. I do hope this gets very nasty for a few years.

To quote a friend of mine:

"There is both rumor and evidence that ranking government officials of our government has given aid and comfort to sexual entertainment trafficking of children and adults. These same officials have given a blind eye to so called American allied officials and their government that traffic in young boys, girls and sex slaves in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, the Far East and on American soil."

If the Democrats keep digging, this could get interesting.

I believe for this to be hipocrisy, someone in Republican circles needs to stand up for Rep Foley like every Democrat did for Pres Clinton. It is unfortunate that Rep Foley behaves as he has. His ony saving grace is that he immediately resigned. I believe that his actions are reprehensible and he will be punished. Republicans have cast off one of their own as they should have done. It's a pity that no Democrats had the temerity to do the same with Pres Clinton.

I am refraining from talking about Foley simply because it is such a new story-- we don't know all the details yet. Politics is a dirty and sordid business. I can't make fun of something so sick. :(

Don't worry Clinton can handle himself. His wife is by his side and he still remains one of the most popular presidents in history.

Senator John Kerry (D) says the issues should be the agenda, not Foley's resignation. I happen to agree.

Interesting point.
I can't wait to read the post that will be calling you names.

Nani - the only reason he resigned is that it is an election year.
Because while the act was being committed he was satisfied by his actions.

Nope. Because Foley resigned, that's why. Nixon resigned. Clinton didn't resign: bull-headed sycophant.
