I know all of my neighbors. Its sad some people just move into a neighborhood and dont greet like they used to. Thats exaclty why some people arent happy with where they live now. What happend 2 making cookies for the next neighboors and having little dinner parties to greet?

i have lived in the same building for about a year and i dont know any of my immediate neighbors by name and i would not recognize most if i saw them
this is due to my schedule and due to not seeing neighbors very often and probably due to the fact that i dont really have any interest in talking to them
if i lived in a different environment and if i were a parent i would probably be much more interested in knowing my neighbors

I do....but then again, my granny is my neighbor. lol
Edit: Also, I think the fact that I live in a very small town helps. Its much easier to get to know your neighbors here because everything is so much slower and people tend to be outside all the time so we always end up talking.

I am sure some do it depends on where you live though and what personalitys are like.
