There is a wonderful Japanese movie with the same title. The "Black Rain" is the literal black rain that came down after the bombings at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Andy Garcia is one of my fave actors ever,, so i only watched this film up to the part where he got his head cut off. i have absolutely no idea how it ends....
