I don't mean vegan, as they won't, but regular vegetarians.

It would all depend upon the individual, I suspect.
I even know people who incorrectly identify themselves as vegetarians and they eat chicken or they eat fish.

You'd have to ask that person what sort of motivations she or he has for being a vegetarian before you could ask how does their garden grow.

One brother-in-law is a vegetarian and when he switched from occasional meat eater to non-meat eater he stopped using a few things in his garden ... including bone meal and manure.

A niece and her husband are also vegetarians, but only for what they eat, not what they use in the garden. Bone & fish meal, manure, dried blood, and the like have all been used in their garden (and it is a beautiful garden!)
