The floors are a light wood. When I moved my TV stand it left a 2 ft. scratch. Any suggestions?

Old English has oils to match different color finishes. I use that stuff on my scratches. But with a big scratch like that, I might want to sand it down and re finish it.

Good luck Hon!

There is a wood filler available in either mixed form or crayon...one such filler is by Aylmer I believe and works reasonably well.

If your floor is well polished you will want to treat the repair once well dried and sanded carefully, with a wood treater that brings back the shine to that area and protects the repair. If varnished...take a small artists brush and use a bit of varnish to blend in with the rest of the wood. by brushing it smootthly and blending it thinner towards the edges of the repair To match the area better sometimes a mix of a light and a bit darker shade together provides the illusion that there never was a repair.

This method might work for the laminate woods but due to their smoothness you'll have to be quite careful to ensure that the repair is equally smooth.

Good luck

You might pull up the panel or strip and replace it, or you might want to replace the entire floor.

Seriously, go to Home Depot or Lowe's, tell them your situation, and I'll bet they have some good advice and product for you.
