in Kansas, believe it or not, virgins are rare above the age of 16. But I know of a 24 year old how is still waiting for his forever person to come along and make a family with him. We don't think him odd, we just set him up on a blind date or two a month to see if we can help in his search. If you are a virgin because of your own belief structure with or without religious reasons no one will think you a dork. There is nothing wrong with wanting something better for your self, honey, that's called self esteem.

Being a virgin is a personal choice. In my family we were thought marriage before sex, we were well looked on with praise and appreciation in this modern day, to be ourselves and stand on our beliefs. The only people that look like dorks are dorks.

Assuming you're a man, and this depends on what state you live in. West coast anything after 16 might be reason to think you're a dork. You could try lying about it there is no way of telling any difference.

I'd say as long as you want! There's nothing wrong with waiting to have sex. I was 23 the first time & feel like I rushed into something I still wasn't ready for.

as old as they need in order to realize that it doesn't matter what other people think - your virginity is your own, and only you can choose when to let go.
