as a mom/wife I use guilt, bartering and black-male, but you could start with reasoning and honesty if you have the time to waste.

You should probably just ask nicely and if that doesn't work try offering them something in return.

I know the answer for this one... GUILT... use reverse psychology, it always works. At least for me, i know its not a great answer but at least its something
