How did the Age of Reason help buid the United States, like ideas they had and stuff like that.

This time was also known as the Age of Enlightenment in which education was highly valued. Many philosophies (John Locke, Thomas Jefferson and many others from 1600's and 1700's) proposed during that time led to the idea of self determination...every person has the right to live their own life. This led to the idea in the colonies that every Nation has its own right to self determination and that only the people of that Nation can determine the fate of that Nation.

Sounds weird when put against the backdrop of current events like the U.S. invading Iraq.

Alexander Hamilton came to the colonies and created our modern America.

Did a few things:

1. He wrote the majority of the Federalist papers, which was influential in getting the Constitution ratified.
2. Helped found the first African American School.
3. Created the benchmark for our tax system.
4. Created the Coast Guard and worked hard to create a standing army.
5. 1st Secretary of the Treasury
6. Took on 77 million in debt after the war and turned it into a surplus.
7. Created the Central Bank.
8. Created the first IPO - The National Bank - $25 per share.
9. Revolutionary Hero
10. Washington supported the majority of his ideas.
