Princess, this might be you sign from God it's time to move. He does work in strange ways sometimes. I would leave as soon as possible though. A lot of times, prisoner get released early for one reason or another. So, please hurry and make your escape. Please don't leave a forwarding address anywhere, just disappear. If you have an expense apartment, see if you could save money by moving to a less expense place. Try to save as much as you can, as quickly as you can, if you are paying notes for a truck or a car, then don't unless you plan on keeping it. Pay everything as late as you possibly can. Don't pay the rent, unless you are on the lease until the last possible moment. Every dime you save now, is that much futher you go away from him. Do you have family that possbily could help you? If you don't check into a shelter or a abused woman shelter, so you don't have to pay any rent.
Have a huge garage sale. Take just the bare minium you can get by with. Then just disappear one day. That way when he does it out, he won't know where to start looking for you. I will be praying for your escape, and you can have some peace and safety soon.
God bless us all.............

Not at all....if anything you may have been in "jail" yourself and now you're seeing the door open wide for you. Give yourself a pat on the back for realizing that this situation is all too wrong for you and having the courage to move-on. Leave the area as soon as possible. Check with your local United Way organization, since they can help you with the funds to leave this situation. If possible go back to your family....you being in a new area keeps you from getting help from those you can count on and I would not be surprised that this is why your husband chose to move you to this new area. ACT NOW....6 MONTHS WILL FLY BY AND YOU NEED TO BE GONE ASAP.

Sorry for this, but no. He's being a flaming jack@ss. A nicer way to put it....he has a drinking problem and he needs your help in getting straight. He needs.....NEEDS......to be hauled off to a clinic where he can dry out. Otherwise, when he gets out, he will be right back in jail again and again until he either kills himself, or both of you, or someone else drinking and driving.
He's still a jack@ss tho.
HUGS.....good luck, you haved some work ahead of you.

You have to worry about yourself first and no, you shouldn't feel bad for him being in jail because they don't put you there for nothing. You should definetly leave especially if he is an abusive drunk. He sounds like a loser so move on with your life.

I would get on with your life and divorce him while he's in jail. Move
away and start a new life. If there are kids involved it will be better for all of you.

No, your not wrong in feeling this way. You can make it on your own you know, he gave you no other choice but to do that by going to jail. I've been there, too. And know how you feel.

No. I think sometimes, things happen that make us doing the right thing a little but easier. I'd look at it like that. Imagine how difficult it would be if he was out.

Stupid is as stupid does. Wake up, get a job and move away and don't go back. Or you are as dumb as him. You should never feel bad unless you are hurting someone. No crime in not feeling bad about stupid people.
