Day 1) Do a page of homework and do something u want to do...
Day2) Do two pages of HW, do something u want...
and so on... bribing yourself with something.
OR
make yourself busy with a lot of activities and u'll become good in all of them since u seem to be the type of person who needs some pressure to do well.
OR
you might need challenge. Take harder courses.
OR
do a subject u like and do something u like to do, then do some subject u don't like and keep switching.
Atleast one of those things should work 'cause they did for me.

Do the hardest or least liked first and "reward" yourself with more enjoyable studies.
Chunk the hard subjects into smaller pieces with frequent breaks, rewards, and affirmations for tackling the worst first. (some subjects you may need to take a break every 20-30 minutes where others may be fine to go an hour or more without a break)
Set-up a study group of peers from the class (peer study groups of three to five can be very effective in making learning easier for all--maybe meet before or after class, or on "off" days)
Try to develop a study time that works best for you and begin to build it as a habit. (Some people work best in the early morning; others may be night owls--unfortunately, time commitments and schedules may not give you your preferred time choices.

The easiest and most simple way to motivate yourself is by creating goals for yourself. If you have no goals then you have nothing to work towards, right? You're not going to want to study if you don't desire something FROM studying....get what I'm saying? AND it has to be something that YOU want to do, not what you or someone else think(s) you ought to do.
Next, write down and recognize things that get in the way of your goals and try to eliminate them or find ways around them.
After that, make ample time in your schedule (Daily schedules and arrange your time by what your are doing in hours) for your cause so that you have no reason to say that you don't have time for it.
If you are still having problems, I recommend finding a good study group OR getting with friends who like to study and can make studying fun and worthwhile. Make sure that you find friends who can keep things on task so you don't end up playing INSTEAD of studying.

Good Luck! Hope I helped. =)

set a timer for an amount of time..say 30 mins. stop then, take a break, do something you like for a few mins but go back and set the timer again. Don't procrastinate! A little each day is much better than cramming at the deadline. Develop a new habit.Make sure your environment is suitable for studying too--no distractions.

I procrastinate. Sometimes I can wait until maybe two days something is due, then I look at what is left to do and how much time I have to do it in. It really gets you going. The only downside is that if you wait too long, you will end up doing your homework at 1:00 in the morning.

Set yourself short term-goals. That should help to motivate you. Set yourself a time table saying example two hours everyday taking a ten minutes break. You come back a lot fresher, and see thing more clearly. Short term goals i.e Christmas exams etc.

ur kind of like me lol! .. well it's funny, I usually start of motivated and then when the finals or tests finally arrive my motivation level goes DOWN!

It's a badd habit, I know it is.. and somehow I still can't get myself to concentrate ...

Think of it as Instead of Studying.. think of it as ur doing research for ur own interest instead of for the teachers/exam boards.. like ur interested in finding codes for a computer game, or information about whtever ur into at the moment.. star signs, sports, etc.

Like science or business.. think of it as Ur really interested in them enough to find out what information it has to offer...

And plus once u try to get urself into it.. it does make u look at it in a different light.. and u may find something interesting about it after all..

or .. at times, when I look at movies/think about people that didnt have enough money to go to college/uni.. they still managed to work hard until they get scholarships....and in the end they become successful and .. proud of themselves

In the latter case, think about what/who inspires u about the future...

Atleast tht is wht inspires me..

Expose yourself to many different fields until you find one that interests you, then go for it. Motivation will follow. You must develop an interest in life, otherwise you will just mildew.
