Not yet discovered for women. Some researchers theorize that sildenafil may have a similar sexual effect in women as it does in men, allowing the erectile tissue of the clitoris to engorge with blood. According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), sildenafil may increase sexual function among women taking serotonin reuptake inhibitors, which are antidepressant medications, also known as SRIs. People on SRIs often report low libido and difficulty achieving orgasm. In this study, women who take SRIs were randomly assigned to take sildenafil or a sugar-pill placebo. Women taking both SRIs and sildenafil reported significantly improved orgasm function, although they did not have an increase in sexual desire. It is difficult to generalize these results beyond the specific study population because there is no indication that sildenafil would boost sexual function for women who aren't taking antidepressants. Secondly, the research was funded by several pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, Viagra's manufacturer. Good luck.

since you asked for medical effects... it will decrease your blood pressure..

I would assume you would be subject to the same side effects as a man....

headache, flushing, stomach ache, and mild and temporary visual changes (color perception changes, light perception changes, and blurred vision).
