Get it through your teacher.

Potassium Nitrate has been placed on a limited list of chemical oxidizers and is no longer for sale to the general public.

When I was a teenager, I could get it through any local pharmacy. You might try this, but it is hard enough trying to get pseudophed.

Potassium Nitrate is also a main component in stump remover, so contact an arbourist.

Don't try to maqke it, it's dangerous. It comes in most chemistry sets & many toy & hobby shops carry it.

Good luck with your project.
