is there anyway to delete an old account if you cannot remember the information necessary to log onto it?

If you are talking email, if it is not accessed for 90 days it deletes itself.
If it is myspace, youtube, etc. You need to contact them.

Yes if you are using windows XP restart your computer before the blue screen appear click F8 you will see black screen with chooses
on the tab of this screen click safe mode and log in with administrator account some dialog box will appear telling in the safe mode some program not working do want to .... click yes
go to control panel and delete the account that you don't use

yep restart the pc as it is loading up ,keep tapping the F8 KEY fast to you come to a menu then load up in safe mode then hit enter key then hit the enter key again your see a lot of tex on screen then wait for it to go to the login screen then just click on the
administrator user id then go to the control panle then click on user account , icon then click on the old user id then click delete account
