I am currently compiling my music for my leaving do on Friday night, but could do with some intervention from the clever people of YA Music.

Ross that all sounds pretty but WTF are you asking? Are you saying that you want some suggestions of songs to play for your leaving do? If so ...

Leaving on a Jet Plane - either the original by John Denver or the popular version by Peter, Paul and Mary.

New York, New York by Frank Sinatra

New York, New York (So Good They Named It Twice) ... can't remember who sung it now.

The Streets of London by Ralph McTell?

Those are the most apt ones which immediately spring to mind. I'll give it some further thought and return if I think of any more. :)

No party is complete without ROCK. Not one. Throw in some dance tracks as well, and maybe a Hey Ya to keep the chavs outside vandalising the wall happy.

has to include Reasons To Be Cheerful and Rhythm Stick (Ian Dury & Blockheads). Trés London. For that wistful, late evening moment when the dance floor is thinning out, try Weak Become Heroes (Streets)
