I found a silver bowl ash tray with a coin in the bottom for Philipp V with a coat of arms. Bottom of ashtray coin Hispania RVM REX 1617, bowl has handla like a cup with another coin bent to hold cigar or cigarette (?). Pure silver not plated. Found in junk antique shop for $5.00.

Here is a link to the only Philip III coin I could find on eBay. The coin is low grade, so not much detail. A cob coin with a full date would be worth a lot more, if genuine. Philip V was king of Spain almost 100
years later.

The Mint mark and assayers initial would be to the left of the coat of arms. The denomination in reales would be to the right of the coat of arms. These coins are rather rare with date, mint mark, assayer, denomination, and legend all visible.

Here is a Philip V cob coin presently on eBay. The mint mark (Mo = Mexico City) is visible.

Philip V wasn't around in 1617 but was in 1717. The 1617 king was Philip III,
