Most likely, this world will indeed remain a 'dog eat dog' world. This is because people are without Jesus. They just can't comprehend the fact that you don't have to be competitive to live in this world. People really need to be more considerative, and the ones who give, receive ten fold from God.

Neither. You must be strong in order to survive. Along with that goes a belief in God. He gives us the strength we need to survive anything life throws at us.
