The ordered pair consists of F, the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit, and C, the temperature in degrees Celsius. Since it is already indicated that the second element in the ordered pair is C, it follows that you should substitute -10 for F.

You get -10 = 9/5*C + 32
which gives

-10-32 = 9/5*C

-42=9/5*C

-210=9*C

C = -210/9 = -23 1/3.

F=9/5C+32 (-10,C)
You have to find temperature in F when C=-10
F=(9/5)(-10+32)
F =39.6
Therefore temperature in Ferrite is =39.6
