80+93+91+x all divided by 4=90

multiply 4 • 4 which cancels out. then 90•4=360

so u have 80+93+91+x=360
80+93=173+91=264
360-264=96
what u have left is
x=96

(80 + 93 + 91 + x) / 4 = 90

add the 80+93+91 to get:

(264 + x) / 4 = 90

now multiply both sides by 4 to get:

264 + x = 360

now subtract 264 from both sides to get:

x = 360-264 = 96

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hope that helps!
Of course if the "over 4" part of your question only referred to x and not 80+93+91+x, then you'd have a different answer, but hopefully you can now solve this yourself since I've shown you in clear steps how to attack a problem such as this.
80+93+91=264
multiply 4 to both side to cancel out the over 4 part
so you have
264+x=360
subtract 264 from both sides
x = 96
The best way to really learn this and for someone to help you (that's HELP you, not do your homework for you) is for you to provide what YOU think the work and answer is. That way, people can see what your current process is and help you correct it if necessary.
In any case -- is that entire first string all over 4, or is it only the X over 4?
90*4=360
80+93+91=264
360-264=96
x=96
for these problems, you should work backwards
