This sounds messy and painful, but if you put a teaspoon of salt into a glass of water and use a straw to put it up your nose, you can irrigate your sinuses with salt water and that will fix them just fine.

Then run a humidifier or vaporizer with some mint leaves in the water, that will keep your sinuses open and flowing.

Try some Tylenol for the pain, saline nasal spray to irrigate the sinuses and hopefully dry out whatever is causing the pain, and a humidifier in your bedroom at night should help.

Ask your pharmacist. If she/he comes up with something safe for the baby, run it by your doctor's nurse on the phone to see if it's okay with the doc. Follow your doctor's orders if you want a healthy baby.

Go back to your doctor and tell them that the medication aren't working. if they bother you, you always have to think about your baby. You have to weigh the advantages to the medication to the things that the medication can do to your baby.

I really think you need to speak again with your OB/Gyn. You can telephone for the information and get an OTC recommendation or have a prescription phoned in to your pharmacy. Make sure you have the pharmacy phone number. It's important, crucial in fact, to the health of the baby and to yourself that your OB be involved in this. Please take my advice.

well you should talk to the doc. i know i could take sudafed at one point and then benadryl at another
you can also flush your sinuses with warm salt water - use a baby nasal aspirator - it is gross sounding but it works. it will not harm you or the baby and it gets everything out of your head. things you didn't know could even exist there!!
