You will have to take it to a place like curry's and they will put the new battery in for you but they do charge quite a lot to fit it and then you have to pay for a new battery as well.

you can't change the battery for ipods, where in your ipod did u see that you can open it?? my ipod shuffle works great the battery lasts like 14 days or someth i never had to change it

take it to an apple shop.
You pay for the battery and they'll fit it free of charge.

i don't know i don't even got a ipod im poor but proud go chek it out in the store

.......No they have to be sent away. This is the biggest problem with ipods. Don't try it yourself, you will break it.
