Living through the year 200 with no major calamity in the earth rotation, movement or solar system.

Or how about not falling off of the end of a flat earth!

I am so glad there are those in history who have always set out with an open mind and have forged through the naysayers!

Ya i was gonna say flight. Communication through telephone lines, Computers were once thought to be a fad and of no real value. Travelling at the speed of sound. Cloning.

flying....going to the moon....submarines....

There are tons of things that were considered impossible but have been done. Probably everything surrounding you in your room was at one time in history an impossibility....science fiction if you will.
