YES i HATE her!!! and i actully know some1 who has meet her many times... my moms friend has eaten dinner with oprah many times and she told me that she is a very rude self centered person and the whole thing she does on tv is a total act

I do not hate Oprah I don't watch her show regularly but she does have some really good topics from time to time!!! Also if u went on her show and they gave u a free car or some nice gift then u would probably love her!!! She does alot of things for the less fortunate so i like Oprah!!! What did u do to help out the Katrina evacuee? hm mm probably nothing but Lady O did she donated over 1 million dollars!!!

I do not hate anyone. Hate is a strong word. However, I watched her show before anyone really knew who she was. I always liked many things about her. The fact that she openly discussed the rough life she had as a child and the fact that she was a regular person made it easy to relate to as an average American. She displayed the American dream that anyone could rise above their circumstances and follow their dreams and succeed. Lately, I have lost my connection with her. I really believe that she is trying to make a name for herself and that her goal is going to be to get into politics in the future. She used to serve the people now she seems to be serving her own power and ego. She has done many great things for people, and I believe many times it was really for the good of others. I see her new personality as different. She is more of a Hollywood type. I see that she has lost her true authentic person. It happens to many people who get too much money and too much notoriety. I rarely ever watch her show anymore. I watched her for years and often looked at her as a role model. That has changed. Some of the people I now look up to are just average, hard working people who overcome so many daily struggles and are true to themselves.

Absolutley. She's such a phony ! Remember the episode on her show when "she" gave away a car to everyone in her audience ? It made her look like a saint. The next day, it was announced it was the car company that actually gave the cars away. She just simply used her show to seem like it was her generosity. Nice, huh ?

I hate the way she invites people onto her show and then won't let them tell their story...she just interrupts them and won't stop flapping her lips enough for them to get a word in. I like the favorite things episode though, more people should give away free stuff.

Oprah is great! She runs her industry, answers to God, not man. and does a lot of good w/her money. (ie helped out Katrina victims when gov't didn't).
This is from a male point of view,so I guess that means little...unless you are intelligent enough to hold a converstions without playing the sex card.
