They were turned into hobbits by the Evil Bagel Witch of the Dirty Shoes and forced to eat chicken feet and pepper flovored jell-o for the rest of their days.

Do you mean the soap opera "Dark Shadows"? Jonathan Frid, who played Barnabas Collins is retired, in Canada. and Lara Parker who played Angelique went on to play some roles on Broadway and some nighttime television dramas.
